As our players prepare for their season of lacrosse, the organization itself is working hard behind the scenes to create new ways to meet the financial needs of our program.  In addition to traditional fundraisers, we are also looking for business sponsors for our upcoming 2015 season. 

The Northern York Lacrosse Club does not want financial hardship to stand in the way of a child participating in the sport. We offer scholarships to help cover registration and uniform fees. We do not turn any child away that wishes to learn and play the game of lacrosse.

Registration fees only cover a small part of what it costs for a lacrosse season. Annual costs for balls, goals or goal parts, field paint, referee fees and other miscellaneous expenses occur.  For the safety of our players we maintain an AED machine, each team has a fully stocked first aid kit on hand at all times and field maintenance is performed on our game field to improve conditions. These are examples of the expenses the NYLC incurs each season which cost upwards of $15,000-$20,000. We depend on our fundraisers and generous sponsors like you to help us provide for the youth members of our club.

The Northern York Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit youth sports organization serving York and Cumberland counties. Our mission is to organize, develop and promote the sport of lacrosse for boys and girls in elementary through 8th grade while teaching teamwork, dedication, personal fitness, and leadership. We currently serve over 140 players and their families.
